And he said, ‘Bertie, you should be doing this on the stage!’ So here I am, Jeeves in tow. I mean, I’ve been to the theatre a couple of times, I’ve seen people act and have often thought, ‘Well, how hard can that be?

Brimstone and Treacle by Dennis Potter
